How to have godly friends… Just because your friends go to church doesn’t mean that you have godly friends that the Bible talks about.

If you want these 5 things in a friend, you will have to look at the mirror and be these to others without any strings attached.

1. Help you grow in your relationship with Jesus.

Proverbs 20:5 - The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out.

2. Friends through hard times.

Proverbs 17:17 - A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.

3. Listen and Speak wisdom.

Proverbs 13:20 - Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.

Proverbs 27:6 - Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.

4. Do not share anger.

Proverbs 22:24 - Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered

5. Forgive each other.

Luke 6:37 - Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
